About Loco Turbo

Loco Turbo is Sam’s site for a Porsche 996 Turbo. The name is a bit of a joke. The car is not.

The 996 Turbo is the widebody, Mezger-era 911 that still makes sense as a car you actually use. Seal Grey, Aerokit wing, Turbo Twist wheels, red calipers. Twin-turbo flat-six, all-wheel drive, a cabin that has not been redesigned into a living room. It is old enough to need looking after and new enough to take a wet commute without ceremony.

This site is the public notebook: a gallery for the car as it lives, and a blog for service, driving, and the decisions that do not belong in a caption. It will replace the previous Hostinger Builder page on locoturbo.com.

What this is not

It is not a shop, not a magazine, and not a parts catalogue. If a modification happens, it will be written down with the reason. If nothing happens for a month except oil and rain, that will be written down too.

Photographs

The gallery uses three approved lookalikes — front, side, and rear — so the public site can show the car without publishing owner originals. Plate areas stay blank. Drop replacements intosrc/assets/gallery and wire them in the data file. No CMS, no accounts, no secrets.
